(Hormesis) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hormesis"In physiology and nutrition, hormesis can be visualized as a hormetic curve with regions of deficiency, homeostasis, and toxicity. Physiological concentrations deviating above or below homeostasis concentrations adversely affects an organism, thus in this context, the hormetic zone is synonymously known as the region of homeostasis." "Hormesis is a characteristic of many biological processes, namely a biphasic or triphasic response to exposure to increasing amounts of a substance or condition.[1] Within the hormetic zone" "In the context of toxicology, the hormesis model of dose response is vigorously debated. The biochemical mechanisms by which hormesis works (particularly in applied cases pertaining to behavior and toxins) remain under early laboratory research and are not well understood. The notion that hormesis is an important policy factor for chemical risk regulations is not widely accepted.[5]" (Related) Microdosing Homoeopathy Hygiene Hypothesis (early childhood exposure to particular microorganisms contribute to the development of the immune system) Exercise Carbon Dioxide Levels & Oxygen Levels Smoker's Paradox (https://nethood.boards.net/post/22829/thread) Alcohol Consumption Radiation Hormesis Theory The Dose Makes the Poison What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger Life's Hormetic Principle, General Adversity

3ext2eng1.substack.com/p/network-spirituality-part-2-neurotribesNeurotribes As if the mass of humanity were organized by innate predisposition into clans or tribes, each with its own distinctive attributes. It’s no coincidence that the way Miladies communicate on the TL has been identified continually as “schizoposting” by those out of touch with the internet. It’s not just that they’re out of touch with the internet, but that they’re of a fundamentally different type of human without access to the style of thinking we possess. Our language to them is as indiscernible as advanced calculus is to non-mathematicians. Putting aside that most Miladies are neurodivergent to begin with (we are all super retarded in our own uniquely beautifully transcendent ways), most of us have undergone additional deep mental (and therefore epigenetic) change through our long immersion in the internet. This change will not only be passed on but deepened and refined and perfected over time. Tags: Just Like A Geg

(How Does a Caterpillar Turn into a Butterfly?) www.scientificamerican.com/article/caterpillar-butterfly-metamorphosis-explainer/"But what does that radical transformation entail? How does a caterpillar rearrange itself into a butterfly? What happens inside a chrysalis or cocoon? First, the caterpillar digests itself, releasing enzymes to dissolve all of its tissues. If you were to cut open a cocoon or chrysalis at just the right time, caterpillar soup would ooze out. But the contents of the pupa are not entirely an amorphous mess. Certain highly organized groups of cells known as imaginal discs survive the digestive process. Before hatching, when a caterpillar is still developing inside its egg, it grows an imaginal disc for each of the adult body parts it will need as a mature butterfly or moth—discs for its eyes, for its wings, its legs and so on. In some species, these imaginal discs remain dormant throughout the caterpillar's life; in other species, the discs begin to take the shape of adult body parts even before the caterpillar forms a chrysalis or cocoon. Some caterpillars walk around with tiny rudimentary wings tucked inside their bodies, though you would never know it by looking at them. Once a caterpillar has disintegrated all of its tissues except for the imaginal discs, those discs use the protein-rich soup all around them to fuel the rapid cell division required to form the wings, antennae, legs, eyes, genitals and all the other features of an adult butterfly or moth. The imaginal disc for a fruit fly's wing, for example, might begin with only 50 cells and increase to more than 50,000 cells by the end of metamorphosis. Depending on the species, certain caterpillar muscles and sections of the nervous system are largely preserved in the adult butterfly. One study even suggests that moths remember what they learned in later stages of their lives as caterpillars." (Imaginal Disc) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imaginal_disc"During the pupal stage, many larval structures are broken down, and adult structures, including the discs, undergo rapid development. Each disc everts and elongates, with the central portion of the disc becoming the distal part of whichever appendage it is forming: the wing, leg, antenna, etc. During the larval stage, the cells in the growing disc appear undifferentiated, but their developmental fate in the adult is already determined.[3] The experiment that demonstrates this developmental commitment is to take an imaginal disc from a third instar larva, about to undergo pupation, and subdivide it and culture it in the body of a younger larva. Discs can be continuously cultured this way for many larval generations. When such a cultured disc is eventually implanted in the body of a larva that is allowed to pupate, the disc will develop into the structure it was originally determined to become. That is, an antenna disc can be cultured this way and will, almost always, become an antenna (out of place, of course) when final development is triggered by pupation" //Strange how this sounds like a sci-fi future but already realized.

(Hellhound) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hellhound//First I heard of this was Xolotl, then the El Cadejo and El Lobizon, but apparently mysterious black dogs associated with hell, satan, afterlife, evil spirits, or some equivalent is a worldwide phenomenon. How curious. (Xolotl) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xolotl-"Xolotl is sometimes depicted carrying a torch in the surviving Maya codices, which reference the Maya tradition that the dog brought fire to mankind" -"In art, Xolotl was typically depicted as a dog-headed man, a skeleton, or a deformed monster with reversed feet. An incense burner in the form of a skeletal canine depicts Xolotl.[10] As a psychopomp, Xolotl would guide the dead on their journey to Mictlan the afterlife in myths. His two spirit animal forms are the Xoloitzcuintli dog and the water salamander species known as the Axolotl.[11] Xolos served as companions to the Aztecs in this life and also in the after-life, as many dog remains and dog sculptures have been found in Aztec burials, including some at the main temple in Tenochtitlan. Dogs were often subject to ritual sacrifice so that they could accompany their master on his voyage through Mictlan, the underworld.[12] Their main duty was to help their owners cross a deep river. It is possible that dog sculptures also found in burials were also intended to help people on this journey." (Cadejo) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadejo-"The cadejo (Spanish pronunciation: [kaˈðexo]) is a supernatural spirit that appears as a dog-shaped creature with blue eyes when calm and red eyes when attacked and roams the isolated roads at night. Central American folklore is of indigenous origin. There is a good white cadejo and an evil black cadejo. Both are spirits that appear at night to travelers: the white cadejo protects them from harm and danger during their journey, the black (sometimes an incarnation of the devil) appears to kill them."

Journalist Whitney Webb has worked to uncover some of the most dangerous stories of our lifetime, and she joins Glenn to reveal just how eye-opening it’s been. Her new two-volume book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime that Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein,” examines Epstein’s elaborate network of corruption and power, from Bill Clinton to Ghislaine Maxwell and many more. Her research into transhumanism has given her a terrifying perspective on the World Economic Forum and tech elites, including Elon Musk. And she tells Glenn the dark truth about Biden’s push for electric vehicles that she noticed while living in Chile.

dennisbouvard.substack.com/p/wisdom-as-searching-the-central-intelligenceSome years ago, in discussing with my GA colleagues the topic for the next year’s conference, I proposed that we deal with the “digital,” and further wrote up a proposal that proposed that the “search” was the fundamental defining concept of the digital society. I’m not sure how I arrived at that intuition, and probably wouldn’t have defended it so well had I been explicitly challenged, but I must have had a “sense,” based on experience with Google and algorithms, e.g., on Amazon, that ultimately all intellectual activity will be reduced to this. Just the experience of continually refining your search terms so as to get what you want, even without exactly knowing what you want (hence the “search”), suggested that this was a new mode of writing. The rapid development of language AIs, which are obviously still in a very early stage, confirms the centrality of the search to digital practice, as the language generation operated by these machines is nothing but a search of the internet for language that would “match,” according to some parameters, the language one has provided it. The data accessed through the search is (or will be) the entirety of the culture, which obviously includes far more material than was transmitted by the ancient scribes. When you type some language into the engine you are organizing all of human knowledge around that language, skewing it in some way. We can see that the quality and importance of a piece of writing will be determined by the way it arranges the collected expression of humanity around itself in such a way as to enable a revision of the “search term” (entire books will be “search terms”) so as to elicit yet another, more revealing, display of human thinking. The equivalent of scribal education today, then, is the composition and ongoing revision of search terms. dennisbouvard.substack.com/p/programming-the-sameInterestingly, the word “idiom,” according to the Online Etymological Dictionary, means “peculiar,” peculiar to oneself but, ultimately, it seems, “itself,” which is to say self-same, which is to say same-same. Think about what it takes to keep an awkward or aimless conversation going or, for that matter, to make an ordinary conversation more memorable—the perpetual recycling of words used earlier so as to turn them into reference points that can frame the conversation itself. An idiom is that, sustained indefinitely. Programming an idiom or, perhaps, programming the programming of idioms, then involves the creation of a transfer idiom, which keeps recycling the idiomaticity of idioms by creating patterns of repetition of idiosyncratic but transferable idioms. If you stick to the transfer idiom (which replaces things like theories and philosophies) you can keep making things the same within fields of likenesses because it will keep reminding you that what makes things the same is and is only this use of this idiom, inscribed indelibly on the culture. The idiom enables you to get closer and closer to, more and more like, any other idiom, bringing it to a crisis, even if only imagined, only to issue an aborted gesture of appropriation referring to the new form of the transfer idiom which both the mimicry derived from it and the mimicked idiom can install ostensives referring to, differentiating them once more, with an imperative to avoid crossing certain boundaries attached. The transfer idiom is our equivalent of prayer and programming.

profesoraragon.wixsite.com/theforbiddenreligion/gnostic-fragments"ALL THE UNIVERSE HAS BEEN BUILT FROM A FIRST MONAD TIRELESSLY IMITATED BY THE DEMIURGE. That is why the DEMIURGE’S ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTIC IS IMITATION." "The synarchic vision implies to continue in the causal order, subjected to the law of evolution and to the rules of material progress on which western civilization is based. It implies a growing immersion of the individual in the collective; the history marching towards a future mechanically complex society, in which man will disappear as such in a metaphysical atrophy of his self, the essential goal to be fulfilled by the synarchic vision: the World Government." "In fact, the Spirit-sphere can already be unchained, reversed, returned to normality. But there are two ways for such a reversion to take place, and that is why the awake virya must decide. One way is to invert the original process of treason: THIS IS ACHIEVED BY THE AWAKE SELF, BY VOLUNTARILY INTRODUCING ITSELF THROUGH THE EYE OF FIRE AND BY BECOMING AN “ABSOLUTE SELF” WITHIN THE NORMAL SPHERE. In such case, the Spirit-sphere, now “Normal”, may abandon the infernal Universe of the Demiurge and may return to the world of the Unknowable."

Death Drive, Eroticism of Georges Bataille, Will to Unity /watch?v=DbdMwxrM6iQ "A nice introductory reading of the death drive! Maybe a bit too moral for my liking? The death drive actually has a creative/productive side in Lacan and other psychoanalists work - it's not restricted to the destructive and anti-cultural phenomena you described here (though that's definitely part of it). Even in Freud you can find the death drive related to the sublimation process which is essential in the fundation of civilization. I would suggest reading Lacan's seminar 7 and to really go deep into the death drive reading Andre Green's amazing ideas regarding "death narcisism". To me the death drive is morbid and agressive, yes, BUT, also necessary for individuality, separation, introjection, sublimation... If everything was Eros, that is, connection, love, "unification", that would mean a different kind of "death" - it would mean living continuously in a kind of world where there was no Difference, just sameness. There would be no I or Other in a completely Eros oriented world: we need Thanatos to separate that unity and create the individual, difference creativity and the New depend on it. Still, great video!" "This topic reminded me a lot of Bataille's writings on Eroticism. Death is how we merge with continuity (the totality of the world), since being alive makes us discontinuous, individuated subjects. Eroticism is the tension between continuity/discontinuity, and it is a drive we have towards death/continuity. [...]" "The desire for chaos is the result of a denial of life, one's self and qualities or the denial of imposed order. This can be detrimental to a life or maybe many in the short term (or is completely misguided and the result of corruption and polarization to this maladaptive intent) but to some point this drive is for life, and this can be outside of one's self." "We are not driven by conserving unity, but by differentiating entropy. The complexification of the psyche and the world towards the final drive of no-drive and the end of all potential occurs through a dialectic with death towards the fictional less than nothing of a reality, a form of yearning to return to less than nothing, 'the completion of will in heaven with god after death'." /watch?v=lItZD-M3no4 What fascinates me quite a bit lately is something I would call „will to unity/oneness“ (in contrast to Nietzsches notion of will to power etc.) because what you see in most (older) religions, for example the Aztecs, Hinduism(Aghori tribe especially), Sufism, Kabbala and so on, is this kind of Spinozian notion of god Aztec human sacrifices (which Bataille talks about as well) and in Kabbalistic traditions as well and a lot of other examples Death is viewed as the reunion with God You could view Death, Love, Religion, the collective part of Fascism, communism, Drugs etc as this strive for self-annihilation in a sense of the will to unity [...] „‘The moment of beauty had now been made known among men, it was there in life and spirit, infinite oneness was.“ -Hölderlin Also: in Greek mythology men and women initially were one being, then the gods seperated them (into men and women) after which they made love in order to reunite and become one. I also read some obscure philosophical notion that consciousness removed us from the unity of nature for we became a subject which I find pretty interesting (it’s really just a strive to return into the mothers womb if would ask Freud - a longing to the pre mirror stage) Last one: a movie recommendation: Tetsuo - the iron man It’s a Japanese black and white film which is really interesting if you read Deleuze and Bataille A lot of desire, transgressive erotic scenes, becoming one/other, and all in all just really fascinating Not sure if any of what I wrote made sense but oh well
