Ideal System for Ebileno:
Don't get me wrong, I do quite like Ebileno in its current state but there are some ideals I'd like to achieve.
Basically I've had this idea of attempt to figure out a system to have all the words systematically collapse into each other so that syllables are reduced significantly as well as keeping the base words intact. The problem with trying to shorten things as I attempted recently in the past is that I ended up just making more base words. No matter what I do, the pattern goes like this: Make everything shorter = more base words, Allow longer combinations of fewer base words = words get longer.
It seems that a systematic collapsing of words is the only way to solve this. It doesn't need to make every word one syllable (which would be crazy ideal) but it does need to do a great deal of reducing. Even generally having a global reduction of one syllable makes a huge difference.
Another potential solution (which is sort of being done, sometimes by accident) is the widening of the semantic reach of base words to make it more acceptable to make certain derives for things. This can go hand in hand with semantic re-arrangement where I'd have to redevelop multiple and probably all the base words so that it is more efficient or at least makes certain words not have as much syllables pushing all syllables to other words that probably won't be as often used.
As I said before, the wordiness issue isn't too bad, especially when you compare Ebileno to languages like Spanish or Japanese where their syllable count for various words are quite high, although it really helps that languages like those can flow better and be spoken quicker than English can. It also helps that Japanese can cut out various words if obvious by context (Which Ebileno readily does as well.) But still, if Ebileno is going to be restricted to the base words it has and can not import any foreign word, then it would be a really good idea to make those words short as possible so that constantly huge and long word combinations don't take over the language making it unspeakable.

Slanging And Its Potential Consequences:
So after creating the 155th word being vjo, I realized something. Vjo is a perfectly unique sound combination in the language. Infact, that is the only one with vj in it in general. Vjo was also made as a shortening of Vajo. So it made it wonder, instead of creating a new word in order to shorten things, why not just allow a slang form of word that is usable regardless of any formal register? This slang idea is also similar to the "collasping" idea I had, it's just this time it's on a much smaller scale and not as systematic.
The justification for going through with this is that: 1. Shorter is better for word deviations and speech speed 2. Vjo is a completely unique single syllable combination that is very recognizable and can not be confused with anything else. 3. No semantics are being changed or removed 4. This can simply be seen as another way to potentially pronounce a word. 5. This does not violate the purpose of aiming for a very low amount of base words
Okay, so now there's a good chance I'm going to go through with this but I still have a concern and that concern is that now that I am doing this, wouldn't it be logical for me to figure out the most efficient way to get as many of these slangs existing in the language whenever possible? What should be the limit? What combinations should be permitted? It would really bother me to do things arbitrarily as I really want a systematic approach or an analysis to this. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do something like that for at least 2-3 months. Maybe more. For now, all slangs are just based off of an arbitrary "eh, seems like a good idea".

Mir parotsagwan tropatezh vjov. Frapatezh nezh vjov.
Notes: -Shall isn't even necessary because a temporal adverb has already been used. You lose a bit of the fanciness but eh. -Mir doesn't need to be stated again. Mir doesn't even need to be stated in general but if you were to see this quote without context it's good to at least indicate who's talking. -I got lazy and translated "do without" as lit. "not drink" to oppose the affirmative statement from the first sentence. But it would be pretty Ebileno like to do this so eh.

Debasur, min gepatroswasav. Damusauv feo vawir. Wepror nezh wev. Nez sujotin juv.
Notes: -Combined sadness+compassion, in other words, Gepa(sa)+Troswa(sa), to make the word pity off the fly. I don't really like it though (it's not even in the dictionary) so it'll probably be changed soon.

Today, I bring you a recent hot abomination. The translation for veal in Ebileno:
Tsusugjudösuma
It is composed of child+cattle+meat.
While it may be long, at least it looks nice and flows nicely.

Miz nifrashuswer kechin mim nezh gewiv.
Notes: -Notice the lack of tal by the word mim. Prepositions can be dropped if context makes it obvious. Typically the action of giving is followed with to and it's pretty hard to imagine any other spacial/movement based preposition. And no stuff like give up, give in, give way, etc. doesn't count because those are actually give + verb particle/adverb combos that is specifically English based. Ebileno does not use prepositions in the same way that English does. -I went with Kechin over Chin to translated powers here mainly because it feels like the usage of the word powers here implies ability rather than raw general power. It's sort of vague though so I guess Chin could also work.

Etymologies of the Ebileno Base Words: (WIP)
So if you were ever curious about the decisions for why I chose those particular sounds and visuals for the base words, here's the whole thing in one post. []'s indicate etymology/history and the text afterwards express why and etc.
Ba [From English back] I mainly choose this because it was an easy way to memorize this word without trying. A lot of base words are for this reason so if I just say, "mnemonic" you'll know what I mean.
Bau [From English bound] mnemonic
Be [From General Germanic, Swedish ben, Dutch ben, German Bein, etc...] mnemonic
Bi [From Earth Language Bi] mnemonic
Ble [From Abigeno ble, ultimately from English blee] mnemonic. I should also mention here that'll you'll see Abigeno quite a bit. All you have to know is that it was a previous conlang of mine that followed a similar grammar/premise and so I ended up reusing the names that best fit over the new semantics.
Bo [From Abigeno bo, ultimately from English prefix be-] mnemonic
Bö
Bra [From General Romance, Spanish brazo, French bras, Latin bracchium, etc...] mnemonic
Bro [Joining of English brain and Spanish cerebro] mnemonic
Bu [Mutation of General Germanic English bone, German Bein, Dutch ben, Swedish ben, etc...] mnemonic
Chi [From English chi which references the romanization/phonetics of Chinese 氣] mnemonic
Cho [From Earth Language Cho] mnemonic
Chu [From Abigeno Tcu] Abigeno tcu actually is used to mean the concept of other/else but I figured it would still fit over given that Chu generally is used for repetition of another version of something.
Da [From Cantonese 大] Originally the word was Dai but I got rid of the i to make the the sounds smoother. Physically it takes longer to say Dai than it does Da.
De [From General Romance Spanish De, French De, etc...] This word was originally Au coming from Abigeno Au and ultimately coming from General Germanic English out, German aus, Dutch uit, Swedish ut, etc... But it was changed to De mainly because there was some derives that had some awkward to pronounce glottal stop stuff that I didn't like.
Di [From General Romance French dix, Spanish diez, etc...] mnemonic
Do [From Earth Language do] mnemonic
Dru [From Abigeno dru, ultimately from Russian друго́й] mnemonic
Du [From Latin duo, Toki Pona du] mnemonic
Dö [From Abigeno Dü, ultimately from Swedish dyr] Dö was originally dü in Ebileno but I eventually got rid of ü sounds mainly because I didn't like pronouncing it.
Dwa [Mutation of Japanese 電話 (denwa). The first kanji character also relates.]
Dwi [From Abigeno Twi] This word was originally pi (from Earth Language pi) but I changed it to twi because it bugged me how it could blur with bi (which is admittedly a weird thing to be concerned about because I allowed stuff like se/ze, chu/dcu, fa/va, ku/gu, etc. arbitrary reasons are the best way to explain it.) And then I changed twi to dwi since I didn't like pronouncing the t sound unvoiced.
Dca [From the dia in English diagonal.] Basically I ran together the word dia to the point where the d became palatalized which reminded me of the ɟ (IPA symbol) sound thus leading me to make the word Dca.
Dce [From English jet] Mnemonic
Dcu [From Malay juta] Mnemonic
Fa [From Abigeno fa, ultimately from Latin faciō] Mnemonic
Fe [From Abigeno fe, ultimately from English from]
Fi [From English amphibian]

Notes: -U.S./Canada = Yr pasajov, Yr najon pasajov -Japan = Yr wojan pasajov -Decided to be less restrictive with the nil preposition. I in general have to learn to not be as concrete considering how the language works, lol. -

List of Elements So Far:
Vapo (V) = Hydrogen -water+substance Paspepo (PS) = Helium -sun+substance ... Tsapo (T) = Carbon -plant+substance Supo (S) = Nitrogen -life+substance Hopo (H) = Oxygen -fire+substance ... Palupo (PL) = Neon -florescent+substance Megopo (MG) = Sodium -sea+substance (sea referencing salt) ... Shiflapo (SF) = Sulfur -smelly odor+substance ... Bupo (B) = Calcium -bone+substance ... Deblechopo (DC) = Gold -yellow+metal
Extra Info:
Ebileno's original semantic inspiration, Earth Language interestingly actually tends to go against common naming practices for Elements. From what I gathering, the logic for the naming is...
Naming elements based off of what something is seen to be made up mostly of:
Vapo (water is fundamentally made up of hydrogen atoms) Hopo (fire needs oxygen for its being) Tsapo (possible reference to peat/coal?) Supo (Nitrogen is pretty fundamental to life.) Megopo (the sea is full of salt)
Common visual: Deblechopo (yellow+metal)
I should note that some of those elements were made by me and not the original source based off of my assumptions for the logic. Those would be:
Helium Sulfur and Neon
