Quick Update on Mr. Cornfield's condition

I will begin this post with an update on my condition.

I have undergone a traumatic event recently which involved a dream I had predicting my own death which nearly came true. Now I feel as though I have been split into three separate components which are, firstly, the metallic component, secondly, the squelchy component, and thirdly, the remnants of my basal ganglia. There are probably various ancilliary components floating around between the gaps in the main ones. If you find any of them let me know. I have been slathering myself with mustard for multiple days now and it is helping slightly by acting as a glue to hold me together. I have been looking at the grass, the sky, the leaves, and the wind. There is a music which emerges from their interaction which is greater than the sum of their parts. The gentleness of nature is very calming to me.

One day the scum told me that there is something similar to nature in the scum world. It is called the phlegm and flows through tubes and pipes and rivers. At first I did not believe them but then I interrogated further. I asked them if the nature played music like my nature did and they said yes. They said that this phlegm was akin to a simmering fluid, composing a sort of vinaigrette-substance, and that if you touched it it would simmer and ripple like a mirror merging and interflowing with itself. They said that it was in constant flux - here dark and murky, there crystal clear - here flowing graciously, there meagerly. Sometimes globules of it would separate and then grow wings and fly away. These are called the phlegm-sprites and if you ever saw one you'd be lucky because they require precise social and environmental conditions.

I, Mr. Cornfield, am generally regarded as a wise man. So sometimes people ask me questions. Yesterday someone asked me about morality. I told them that morality is garbage and deserves to be thrown on the floor and spit on because nobody needs it. Morality is an artificial substitute for the real thing, I said - it's like those artificial sugar packets. What's the real thing? Heck if I know. But when you're just an arbitrary aggregate of components held together by mustard like I am, you'll take anything for an answer.
