Welcome to my testing ground, There's no game here but you'll see notes and visual thingies on two forum games i'm making.
One that can run itself (Like anyone can continue it but not cheat at it or something due to certain things.) but be complex or simple in a way.
And then, a fixed RPG styled game.
An epic one....

Through the power of nuclear fuckin fisson and other assorted quantum mechanics, I bring you, the shittiest puzzle game ever:
...
It doesn't even have a game godammit.
Anyways.
Here's an example.
0000 0100 3009 0020
So... yeah.
The goal is to get everything to zero. but hau
Each number typically has different methods of dispersion as some don't do it at all.
0's mean nothing as they are treated as empty spaces.
1's can disperse themselves with the amount of one in any of the four directions you choose. But it must be one.
Bold = targeted spots.
100 002
1 + 0
010 002
1 + 0
001 002
1 + 2
000 003
(Most numbers work like that.)
2's can disperse only 1 and must move in 2 directions. It must be two directions or else you can't move at all.
11 00
1 + 1
02 00
10 01
A case where you can fuck yourself.
1 1
0 2
You can't move at all since there isn't 2 places to go anymore.
But let's be honest, that seemed impossible anyways.
Most of the game works like this basically.
3's work like 2 but in 3 directions.
4's work like 3 but in 4 directions.
5's and 7's does nothing as you can't do anything with it. Try to avoid them at all costs cus dey shitty.
6's are slightly different. They disperse either in 2 directions with 3 or 3 directions with 2. They're pretty much the best numbers ever.
0000 0000 0600 0600 0000 0000 0000 0000
0000 0000 0030 2020 0300 0200 0000 0000 8's work like 4, except that you disperse 2 instead of 1.
0000 0800 0000
0200 2020 0200 And finally 9's as they disperse 3 in 3 directions.
Now. If you add some numbers together and they become higher than 9, they automatically turn into zero regardless of height.
0000 0010 1009
0000 0001 1009
0000 0000 1000
Why you want to be careful too.
Conveniently also unsolvable.
And that is my shitty game.
Metacritic 2/10
2/10 would not play again
Some Guy 3.14/10
If I wanted to waste time, I would of used my Iphone.

Alright everybody. The first thing was a dud but with more research I think I have finally figured out concepts that may work!
For now, we'll call these things, concepts.
Here's an example with comments on how one would go about making these things.
---
Goal:
To make a game that doesn't not require a GM to be constantly supervising or there in order to push the game along. this would allow players to adventure and level up and do various stuff on their own.
Multiplayer interactions should also be included when possible.
There should also be a system that limits the amount of cheating/screw ups a player can do as well.
Materials:
For this game to be accessible by any/everyone, all the materials to be used must be nearly accessible in any case.
(For example, if a forum didn't have a dice button, they could alternatively... so and so.)
So, the basic requirements that generally must be had are...
(For Game stuff) A forum to be used. Topic generation, and other etc. options if needed. Essential BBcode (or some code) like Bold and Italics.
Note that I didn't list things like color, underling, etc., since a forum might not have those certain things for whatever reason.
random.com (for dice and other random probability. if there isn't a specific function/code for it.) any sig rotater site (These are useful for multiple reasons.) cryptographic currency (This is undecided so for now, I say it's not required but I highly urge it.) a calculator of some kind (possibly)
This part did disclude things like downloads, general sites (to be used as tools), and etc.
Players would also need some important stuff:
Access to the internet The ability to go to required sites (Firewall issues, etc.) make and use posts to the highest extent that is needed. Will to not lie, cheat, or abuse the rules.
Formality:
Some ideas would obviously be a special name of some sort as well as an ID card in a post when starting a game.
Depending on how the site works, it may be more viable to put such information on one's profile page. The only issue with that is that it could be obstructant specially if their profile page has a character limit.
Otherwise, they could just have a link to their intro or formal name, and introduction post in their sig or something. Or one could abolish introduction posts entirely. However, it's important to still figure out your formal name in some way as that will most likely be used for reference and whatnot.
Another formalization to consider is to how to distinguish game posts from regular posts?
One could put special words or decals around the post to show that that's the case. But this may take some time that some people may not want to bother with. Although, assuming that the game is fitted within one topic, it should be obvious by context (However, one may want to speak normally. An announcement or discussion topic is an idea.). (This is opposed to multi-topic games which could be made in a (sub)forum specifically designed for this.)
This also goes into formally doing actions. The most basic way to make it true that you have officially declared an action is to post it as that will be evidence. Special words or decals can be used but as said above, this may be pesky.
Ex.
(Player must display certain pieces of information so one could look back to see if someone screwed up or was cheating. Such a role could be a referee, but then that would sort of break the goal.)
Better Dude
Hp: [30]
Moves: [Fireball]< [Punch] [Shield] [Flee]
Targets: [Dude]<
Dice Number: [6]<
Output:
Fireball takes 6 hp away from Dude.
(Other player waits for response.)
Of course, there could be more interesting and efficient setups.
Or maybe, there's a status page you would have to modify as info will come in and out from that. Although, this seems even less efficient.
Integrity:
This is one of the hardest parts as it's simply the prevention of cheating and mistakes.
The biggest solution so far is the use of cryptographic currency. Depending on how it's coded, you can use it to store information as transactions give proof to how someone got items or money.
A more readily available one is to post info. (I sort of already explained that.)
But mainly, info storage out of the player's reach but still accessible (visually most likely) is probably the most useful conceptual way of preventing this assuming they don't hack into it.
Players could make or sign up for a thing on another site that they can put numbers and other things into as (and this is recommended) that other players can see such things. (And maybe there can be some private things but that would have to be done wisely.) Now from the start, we can tell if they were cheating or not as the rules for carrying out posts will also be able to be reviewed.
Sadly, this may require custom applications and coding. At least it's unfortunate if you don't know how to do it. They are very useful regardless.
The main issue though is that players (depending on how something is coded) can give false info to the feed. The simple solution is make their means of changing info, the same way how they even get items or money in the first place. Therefore, what happens is perfectly synced. But this is even harder to do and almost borders on non-forum gamey.
Otherwise, this was some concept stuff. Feel free to add on and organize my thoughts better.

I was gonna say we could use the shoutbox for all the "status" type things you mentioned, but that would be...terrible...perhaps I could put in a 2nd shoutbox specifically for the game? or would that break the goal?
