Welcome to Minimalist Fighter! Minimalist Fighter
is a simplistic luckish sort of game with some
actual tough decision making involved at some points.
Basically, you have a limited set of moves throughout
the entire game to use to beat your opponents
which more or less will have tweaked versions
or even new moves that you'll have to learn
to get past.
Each opponent will have cycling gif images
that you have to visit as this game sort
of works like Rock Paper Scissors.
Basically, using your best integrity,
you decide with move you want to use.
You will then open the link to see
what happens next as the opponent
could draw out anything so watch out!
Despite the "luck" in it. It doesn't do it that
much as the cycled links will indicate what
the opponent will tend to do on those
certain links.
For Example
Bob
Link1
Link2
Link3
Link4
Link5
You click on these links from 1 to 5 and repeat until
one of you loses.
Maybe Bob only attacks on Link2 as maybe Link5 is
where he's the least predictable. You'll just have to find out.
You will start with 10 hit points or HP
I guess as the opponent's vary.
Here's your moveset:
Attack: Does one damage to the opponent.
Two people attacking each other does not
cancel out. You'll both get damage.
Defend: Negates a normal attack. If an attack is charged,
then this does nothing.
Charge: Increases damage next time when you attack by 1.
You can do this as many times as you like as it'll
keep raising until you use attack or counter. The damage
will then reset back to one. Be aware that charging
will leave you vulnerable to attacks.
If you preform any charged attack unsucessfully, you'll
still lose your charge. Like if you try to attack someone
and they countered you. You lose your charge and your
chance to inflict damage. Same idea if you attempt to counter
and no final attack comes. You'll still lose your charge.
Counter: Negates pretty much any enemy attack
and allows you to automatically preform an attack also based
on the amount of times you charged it. If an enemy
attacks you with a charged attack, this does not mean
that you in turn will deliver that heightened amount of
damage. You'll still do one unless you charged beforehand.
Remember, counter only works when the enemy attacks you.
or if you attacked the enemy's counter obviously.
Soon, you'll learn more moves along the way and be able to change
your moveset.
When you open the spoilers, you'll get the enemy's name,
and their cycle links as well as their description
and the mandatory to read rewards thing
along with other pieces of important info.
As I've said before, make your move,
click on them, process what happens, remember or quickly
write in this url the hp and other current states, and repeat
'til one of you loses. That should be a pretty good recap.
Don't forget your integrity. I should note that if you get
a draw, you still lose. Why? Because this game is cruel.
After you're done reading all of this,
go through all the spoilers in order to play the game. Have fun!

Ah yes dummy. Such an idiot. This guy
doesn't even know how to live and therefore
always loses! I didn't even bother
giving this guy its own art since it's
so bad at this game. I guess it's great if you want to
get used to how this game works to decide
whether or not this system is to taxing for you.
This battle is also optional.

If you beat dummy you will get a new move:
Nothing
It allows you to do absolutely nothing.

Alright, this is your first guy. Don't be intimidated
if you were. Just look at those pathetic stick
arms. I bet he doesn't even lift! Oh well, just
get prepared for your first real battle. Feel free to
play epic music on your hearing buddies or something
to make this a bit more interesting.
Moveset:

Defend
Charge
Counter
Rewards:
You get to go against Challenger 2.
CHALLENGER 2: Mr. Shy Hp: 10
Such an undermining name right?
You'd think this guy would be even easier than
the last? Well guess what. Somehow that's
not the case as this bastard thinks spamming the
defense and counter button is good idea. What a
scrub. I'm fairly sure with enough thought, you can
figure why that's a bad idea and actually take advantage
of this situation.
Rewards:
You get to go against Challenger 3.
