Welcome to "title" as basically this is game where you go and search around
the forum(don't use search unless you don't want this to be fun or if you're ragequiting)
for things that the spoilers below past the huge bar of ///'s demand.
This game could work as a timewaster of sorts or maybe a get-to-know
the Nethood sort of thing. Otherwise, here's the rules:

This game could work as a timewaster of sorts or maybe a get-to-know
the Nethood sort of thing. Otherwise, here's the rules:
General Rules
To properly hunt you first must decide what you're going to hunt... sort of.
Basically past the /// bar, there will be some more spoilers dictate what you're
going to find. They will have labels that dictate what type of things you're going
to find as you must follow all their criteria plus its image as I will say it now:
A(Adjectives): Any image/gif that fits its descriptor.
(And you must find only images. Words are boring and
would make this game too easy. Also images are easier to see.)
N(Noun): Any image/gif that fits its name.
V(Actions/Verbs): Any image/gif that clearly indicates the said action
in some way.
And then there are combination ones. By wary, combinations tend to
be obviously more specific and therefore harder as you must fit like I said,
all the criteria to officially claim that you found this thing.
Numbers are basically a different set of things. Why do I do this?
To prevent duplicates across others of the same type of
thing to find. Simple.
Finally, avoid rotator sig images, obviously including the
ones below that you're about to use. Sometimes you probably
won't know as that'll fuck you up in the competitions if you
do them. My advice is to avoid using avatars, sigs, unless you
know for sure that it's going to be consistent but knowing
this forum, time may have to be your only context in some more
rare cases. Otherwise, if it's prone to change, then it's out of
your range.
Now that you understand these. To set up a game, all you have to
do is keep this tab up somewhere(If you refresh or leave this tab, you'll get
another combination unless you can keep track of these in some way.) Make
your thing and search around the forum looking for these things. Links work as proof that
you found them. Of course, depending on your game mode, this extra
part may be optional.

Non-Competitive Mode
Basically the one player version of this game. I guess you can say it sort of functions
as a practice mode? Look, I think you can sort it out. Basically, pick your poison
and get to it immediately keeping this tab up once you open the spoilers. You do not
need to post links as we assume you have your integrity at stake. Besides, why wouldn't
you have integrity? It'll harm you if you don't.

Competitive Mode
Now this is where shit gets real. Basically the first guy out of the group
who can get all the links requested by the spoilers meeting all the proper criteria
from the general rules is the winner. But wait! Before you start, you need to figure out
how to set up this up with someone as well as what the starting time is! Luckily
I have some ideas. You could try posting or using the shout box to communicate
and then make time based off of a time you guys agreed on(works better
if your time zones are the same.) or some time like 1 or 2 minute(s) based off
of a recent (normal/shoutbox)post or a (normal/shoutbox)post specifically made for this event. (This forum most accurately calculates minutes; anything less than a minute will either say
"less than a minute ago" or "a few seconds ago") An example
shorthand could be:
SH(SHSession,N1,A2N2,V1,1min.)
Scavenger Hunt, Name, Noun1, Adjective2 plus Noun2, Verb1, 1 minute from now/this post
When you post your findings, attempt to put the name of the session/game/match at the top,
and the links by the spoiler demands. The name is sort of optional but it helps
to distinguish it from normal posts or even other sessions if that ever
becomes an issue. It also helps it be postable outside of here.
(Remember? We go by timestamps to see who is the fastest.) Technically place doesn't
matter but if you want a sense of formality, I suggest you post here. Although,
you should discuss beforehand or post that extra info along with your invitation post
if you want to change place. Otherwise, assume here.
Of course this shorthand isn't mandatory but its a pretty simple template to shorten information.
Sorry if these rules seems junky but this is the best I could do to keep this thing
streamline without too much ambiguity getting in the way.
